PSEA to pay school fees
A new mode of payment for school fees using their Post Secondary Education Account (PSEA) is now available to the students.
2 All Singaporean students born after 1 Jan 1988 will have a PSEA.
3 The PSEA is administered by MOE and is opened for all eligible Singaporeans. By now, your students should have received a mailer from MOE introducing this scheme. They may also visit the MOE website http://www.moe.gov.sg/finance/PSEA/ for more information.
4 The 1st batch of students who can start to use the PSEA would be those from the Jan 07 & 08 intakes for payment of Jul 08 fees. They would be informed via SMS to apply by 15 May 08.
5 Students need to take note of the following :-
(i) students to fill in the downloaded Standing Order Form from the MOE website
(ii) students to submit it to their respective CAs for collation by 12 May 08
(Note to CAs – please pass the collated forms to the counter staff at the CVC once you receive the forms)
(iii) students to submit them to CVC directly after 12 May 08
(iv) MOE would inform the students directly on the outcome of the application

laptop discount for students on 21/22 apr
Please assist to inform students of the roadshow. Students whose gross family income < $2,000 or per capita income < $500 may apply for subsidy under the Opportunity Fund to purchase the notebooks. Eligibility criteria applies. Subsidy is capped at $500. Upon approval, student need only pay the difference (purchase price - subisdy) to the PC vendor.
Application forms for the Opportunity Fund will be made available at the roadshow.

CE Photography Exhibition 2008
The Photography Club - with support from Student Development - has organized a photography competition for CE students. If you have enthusiasts among your students we hope that you will encourage them to join this competition. Winning entries will be exhibited from 4 - 22 August, during the Arts Under the Stars Concert 2008 and at the National Library in 2009. The competition details are as follows:
Theme: Earth. Fragile. Handle With Care.
What we're looking for: Images that capture the importance of environmental consciousness. For example, the beauty of nature that must be preserved and protected, or at the other end of the spectrum, actions - even little ones - which contribute to the destruction and depletion of the earth's resources.
Information & Entry Form: Participants should collect an entry form and a copy of the competition rules & regulations from the Student Development Centre.
Submission: Entries must be submitted to Student Development Centre by Friday, 30 May 2008 together with the entry form.
Prizes: 1st - $100 voucher; 2nd - $80 voucher; 3rd - $50 voucher; and 10 consolation prizes.

GREASE THE MUSICAL
A second audition to select the cast for GREASE the musical will be held on Sat 26 Apr 2008 (2pm to 5pm) at ITE College East (Centre for Music and The Arts), Administration Block, Level 2.
